“I have very much enjoyed serving the community of Ferndale as a Library Board Member these past 5 years. I am especially proud to have been a part of the revitalization of the Library, central to which was the Library renovation and expansion project. Although I will no longer be able to be a part of the Board due to my upcoming move from Ferndale, I look forward to seeing the Ferndale Public Library continue to grow as a community educational resource, said Ms. Parmelee.”

“Sarah has been on the board since the library became an independent entity in 2005. She and her husband have volunteered on boards and committees and have given much time and energy to our community. This is not just a loss for the library board, but for Ferndale,” said Ann Warner, President of the Board. “We are sorry to see Sarah go and wish her and her family well.”
